Wheel repair & ceramic coating
The Wheel Guys specializes in cosmetic wheel repair for scraped rims, curb rash and damaged finishes, and also offers wheel ceramic coating. Mobile repair appointments are arranged across the South Bay, Salinas, Monterey County and Santa Cruz County, and north to Redwood City. Workshop visits are by prior arrangement.
Curb rash repair
Curb rash is abrasion or scraping on the wheel’s visible surface. Send photos so we can assess the damaged area and finish, discuss repair suitability and explain next steps. Cosmetic repair is not structural wheel repair.
Mobile wheel repair
We can arrange cosmetic repairs at an agreed location within our service area. Appointment availability, access requirements and any travel fee are confirmed before booking.
Tesla wheel repair
Tesla wheels can have cosmetic curb damage like other wheels. Share the model, wheel photos and finish details so we can assess your specific wheel. We do not claim Tesla affiliation or that every finish can be matched.
Wheel refinishing and painting
Ask about restoring a damaged finish or changing a wheel’s color. Options depend on the wheel’s condition and existing finish. We will explain what may suit the wheel before recommending a treatment.
Cerakote wheel ceramic coating
We use Cerakote for ceramic coating on suitable wheel finishes. A coating adds a protective layer that can help make routine cleaning of brake dust and road grime easier. Regular washing and appropriate care are still needed.
Send photos of your wheels and tell us whether you’re interested in coating an existing finish or discussing it alongside refinishing. We’ll review the wheel’s condition, finish compatibility, preparation and application timing before recommending an approach.
Ceramic coating does not repair existing damage or prevent curb rash, bent wheels or cracks. Results depend on the finish, preparation, use and ongoing care.

What we do not repair
We do not repair bent or cracked wheels. If you suspect structural damage, air loss or vibration, arrange an assessment with a qualified tire or wheel professional rather than assuming cosmetic work will resolve it.
